This band has not been around since 2006

[edit]

The music they put out prior to their name change is completely different than the music they put out since they discovered Imagine Dragons. This start date is misleading and a lame attempt to look more relevant, and not like they are completely biting Imagine Dragons style. This band page needs to be updated to reflect the actual 2 year history of this band, and their first band isn't even relevant enough to have a wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.71.228.195 (talk) 21:17, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Strange, because the band is still around and has on display a good calendar of gigs for the future. Each member of the band has been there from 2006. They may have changed their style or genre but that doesn't mean much in the big scheme of things. If it's true, though, and the article doesn't already address the change, a person ought to make a *good*edit instead of having a little rant on the talk page. Be bold! 162.196.161.203 (talk) 21:41, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 17 February 2017

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: not moved. A clear consensus that DIFFCAPS is enough here. Jenks24 (talk) 06:52, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

American AuthorsAmerican Authors (band) – the current taken is far too easily confused with the much bigger topic of American writers. The distinction offered by capitalisation is inadequate when weighed against vastly greater cultural significance of the writers. Changing of photo

[edit]

Is there anyway we can change the photo here? The photo has a member who is no longer in the band in it. Sakali1927 (talk) 08:57, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Sakali1927, if a more recent image was available on Commons, that would be one way of doing it. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 13:33, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
